Your use of the service shall be deemed to be an acceptance by you of these terms of service.
UFIRST TELECOM reserves the right to revise the terms at any time. UFIRST TELECOM shall indicate on its website the date of the last revision of the terms. Such changes will take immediate effect when they are posted on the website or upon 21 days notice.
The offer is subject to our standard terms and conditions of service, along with the following additional terms and conditions which form part of the contract. Using the service is conditional on accepting all terms and conditions, and customers accept the terms and conditions by purchasing the service.
- Customers agree not to use any UFIRST TELECOM provided services for auto-dialers, telemarketing or illegal purposes.
- UFIRST TELECOM reserves the right to cancel the service without notice if the customer is deemed to have contravened the acceptable use policy.
- Unlimited plans are to be used by the account holders only. The account holder means the company itself or its own staff only. UFIRST TELECOM reserves the right to immediately cancel any service where it is deemed that the unlimited plan is not being used as a normal connection or misused. UFIRST TELECOM considers normal usage to include a maximum of 4,000 minutes per month.
- UFIRST TELECOM reserves the right to determine at its sole discretion what constitutes normal usage. Unlimited Call plans exclude calls to non geographic number like 18XX / 15XX etc, directory inquiry numbers, Calling Card Gateway numbers etc. UFIRST TELECOM regularly update the list of Calling Card Gateways.
- This offer of Unlimited calls forms part of a SIP based telephony service provided by UFIRST TELECOM Ltd. The terms offer and service are used interchangeably. The offer is subject to our standard, along with the following additional terms and conditions which form part of the contract. Using the service is conditional on accepting all terms and conditions, and customers accept the terms and conditions by purchasing the service.
- This offer is available for new customers for a limited time period, and while stocks last.
- The service is to be used for which is defined exclusively at the discretion of UFIRST TELECOM.
- Misuse for this offer will render the offer null and void and the service will be terminated without notice and without refund.
- Usage of the service is governed by our fair usage policy. UFIRST TELECOM reserves the right to monitor your usage. If you make excessive use of your unlimited call service your service may be restricted or you may be asked to subscribe to an alternative service package. UFIRST TELECOM, in its sole discretion will define what constitutes excessive use of the service from time to time. UFIRST TELECOM may at its absolute discretion withdraw the free Irish calls facility from any customer whose use of the service, in the opinion of UFIRST TELECOM either risks degradation of service levels to other customers, puts the UFIRST TELECOM Network at risk or where the usage of the Services is inconsistent with normal residential usage or is for purposes that are not reasonably used by residential Customers.
- Abuse of the service, including but not limited to over usage, using for commercial purposes, using to dial call card gateway services, use with auto-diallers and any non-residential use, will render the offender liable to immediate disconnection without refund or recourse. Abuse of the service will be notified by email and the service will be disconnected without further notice.
- The offer is specific to the specific telephone number, and may only be used with this number. Use with any other number will be deemed an abuse of service.
- UFIRST TELECOM accept no responsibility whatsoever for any hardware failure, software failure or network failure which necessitates the purchase of a new device by the customer.

- Only devices purchased from UFIRST TELECOM or its authorised resellers may be used with the UFIRST TELECOM network.
- Calls not included in the offer include calls made to Premium Rate Telephone Services, calls to Directory Enquiry Services, calls to certain Phone Services (such as 1890, 1850 fax, data calls and call card gateways) , Teleconferencing calls, international and mobile numbers. This service is intended for calls between two individuals to and from regular Irish landline prefixes (For example, 01,02X, 04X, 05X, 06X, 07X, 09X). Specifically, the area codes included in this plan are those defined by Comreg in the Irish Geographic Telecommunications Numbering Areas detailed in Comreg Document 03/147. This offer may not be used for call forwarding, monitoring services or other connections that are not between two individuals.
- In order to make any calls outside of the unlimited call plan offer customers will be required to pay separately.
- If a call exceeds 60 minutes you will be charged at out of package rates. So hang up and redial after 59 minutes.
- Accounts which remain inactive for a period of 90 days or more will be closed. Inactive means that no calls were made or received during the period.
- The service is limited to just one customer account.
Call Charges
- Calls made on our VOIP services are subject to a connection charge of €0.02, where as for all other services it is €0.05
- Calls are charged by the second. Call charges are rounded up to the nearest tenth of a cent.
- UFIRST TELECOM reserves the right to amend the price of call plans, rates and other charges. The UFIRST TELECOM web site will contain notification of any increases in call charges or rates. Customers will be notified via email of any rate increases.
- Line rental, unlimited call unbundles, telephone systems, hardware rental, hardware costs etc are payable in advance.
- No minutes will be carried over to the following month.
- Any calls not included in a call bundles are charged in arrears, which means calls made during January shall be billed in February.
- All VOIP services are strictly PRE PAY. The top up is a pre-payment made by you to UFIRST TELECOM for all VOIP services. It is not a loan to us by you, and we do not hold any such credit as trustee for you. Payments are not refundable. Top up credit may expire after 3 months.
- The subscriber is responsible for all charges arising from the use of the Service whether or not incurred by you personally.
Emergency Calls
- Due to the nature of the VoIP service it is not possible to accurately determine the exact location of the caller. Callers using UFIRST TELECOM services for emergency calls will need to inform the operator of their physical location.
- Emergency calls to 112, 911 and 999 will be directed to the emergency services but no guarantee can be made about the reliability of these calls. Customers should especially be aware that power outages are likely to render computer equipment and internet connectivity non-functional and therefore preclude use of the service for emergency calls.
